Bahama Wave is a Bahamas travel specialist based in Canada, founded by Bahamians with deep roots across the islands. We design authentic, local-first experiences you won’t find on big-box sites—think hidden food spots, off-the-path landmarks, and community favorites—paired with signature adventures like private boat tours, sunset cruises, snorkeling, and fishing charters. Our on-island relationships, including partners like Atlantis, Thunderbird Sea Adventures, and Garden of Eden, give you private access, smoother logistics, and real Bahamian moments.
We keep planning simple and transparent: clear pricing, tailored services, and a small, hands-on team that treats every trip like it’s for family. Whether you’re a couple, a family, a small group, or traveling solo, we handle the details so you can experience the islands like a local—good food, good people, and zero stress.
At Bahama Wave, our purpose is deeply personal and truly meaningful. Our founder started this company out of a need to support his family—especially his son, who is autistic—when traditional workplaces couldn’t offer the flexibility or understanding required. This journey inspired us to create a business that puts family, compassion, and inclusion at its core.
We’re proud to say that giving back is part of who we are. Every year, we donate 3% of our proceeds to the Autism Society, supporting families facing similar challenges, and 1.5% to Alberta Guide Dogs, helping provide life-changing support to those in need. For us, Bahama Wave isn’t just about travel—it’s about making a positive impact, opening doors to new experiences, and building a community that truly cares.
